The idea is to rely on a KFM4 airfoil to achieve good gliding performance. The smoother leading edge the better gliding.
Material is 3mm depron/like sheet. The outline is a true one from a bird guide book, modified to allow cutting with a 3mm bit.
Upper and lower profile differ as the upper covers the front feathers to avoid breaks. Hole in the body...

Finally I have made the cuts from phlatprinter both based on 3,5 mm and 6,2 mm depron (thickness +/-).
If you like them just scale the wing and tailplane thickness to suit your material.
Balance is obtaines with one or two euro cents.

Made out of FFF and assembled with hot glue takes an average 12 year old about 25 minutes to assemble.
As the name implys it takes 4 pennies in the nose pocket to balance correctly.

I had 2 stacks of foam that was compressed to .200 instead of .25. Now I'm just trying to get rid of the stuff as I found out the slots are to big for the compressed foam.
