I printed one and gave it away. I can only assume it went together fine. The finished project looked good, but the dad was a great old school modeler and what may be a non issue to him may not to others. If yours has a problem let me know, I will fix the code :D Attached files [​IMG]...

I used the SketchUp offset tool to bring the gaps of the puzzle pieces back together.
I have not tried to cut this yet but it should be OK. There are not tabs so you will have to either sandwich two pieces of foam together for a tabless cut or you will need to add them.

Also here is a different dragonfly that looks like it would be a little cooler than the one I made, of course I didn't find that file till after I had already made mine :D But you guys are welcome to make it up if you would like here is the dxf for the different one.

The way it works is to stack two pieces of 6mm depron (one black and one white) on top of one another put them in the Phlatprinter and print it. No glue or tape needed. Once the first cut is made they will fuse together and hold.
Once the cut is complete you cut the tabs from the bottom layer and carefully pull them apart.
This will make the entire board and players.

This design was a dxf I found online. The way the fold technique is used is what caught my eye.
I tired this out of 1/4" fan fold and it did not work very well because of these bends. I ended up taping the inside and I wish I had taped the outside to. So that it would have created a tape style hinge when the bends are.
I think this one will have to be made from EPP to work right

Use colored cling wrap in between the foam layers along with some bamboo skewer supporting. You could probably fly the thing with enough power. :lol:
