Not really sure why it would be posted on the forum , but all the same maybe you guys can take some ideas from it, like stacking a 2D picture file to make it appear 3D

Its not perfect but I thought it may give some ideas.
I found the gun file and used the slicer plugin viewtopic.php?f=185&t=2720#p28148
I created a retangle box around the gun and added a couple alignment holes that will be used later to make sure that each slice cut out will align to the one below it.
Slice it into 1mm thickness with 1mm spacing's,...

Looks cool though and might give you guys some more ideas.
The code kinda jumps all over the place as far as cut out order but it will still work it just may get off a little over the course of the entire cut.

Kwok then brought it into Sketchup and did and awesome job building the virtual model and laying out the parts to make it easy for us to build!
I then added the cut codes for 3 sheets of 1/4" foam.
Feel free to rescale and organize the parts to fit the material you have available

You know I started thinking that these slice forms would look cool covered with monokote! You could use white and silver for this one and even add a couple LEDS
