I'm using chillipeppr with tinyg and have been having problems with chilipeppr not running the program. Tried their forums without a lot of success. Can anyone recommend a program that would replace chillipeppr? It did work really good and then it started to not run from time to time and now it isn't running at all. Its getting frustrating. I had got a warning about the local file being too large so I cleaned it out and the warning no longer shows.

What are you using to generate the G-code? TinyG does not support every possible Gcode so maybe you just need to change some generation options to keep it happy.

What are the actual error messages when a program fails to run?

What lines of Gcode are the problem?

Have you changed cable routing? Keep power cables (from PSU, to steppers) away from signal cables (step/dir, and limit switches) for a start.

I'm working with sketchucam. I was starting a large program and I got a notice about reducing the amount of gcode storage I had. It also said that the program would still run. So I ran the program with no problem. The next day it wouldn't run any programs. Everything was set up properly. I eliminated all my gcode files but still no luck. The gcode which shows up does not show the details about speed, feed rate, etc. Not sure if that indicates anything. No error codes show up. Cabling is all the same.

Sorry, this looks like a TinyG specific issue and I really don't know TinyG much at all. The TinyG forums are the place to go.
also, google the specific error message, somebody has seen it before (-:

By the way, there are a lot of Chillipepper/TiniyG users over on http://www.openbuilds.com so maybe asking there will elicit the info you need.

Thanks Dave, I'm beginning to think the same thing. Just out of curiosity, what king of system do you have?

I am slowly building an Openbuilds OX, slowly because I have to make a lot of the small parts myself as it is expensive to import stuff into Africa, but have access to an RJ1325 at a friends factory anytime I need it.
The 1325 is 1.3x2.5 meters and just loves SketchUcam code (-:

Good luck on that project. Maybe we'll see it on open builds sometime.
