Been working on a decent sized Cessna for a week or so, got it cut out but haven't gotten any gear on it yet.
It has a 41 inch wingspan, I will be using some skewers or CF rod to support the wing so it doesn't droop like in the photos. Attached files Cessna.skp (1 MB)Â Cessna_2.skp (775.5 KB)Â [IMG] [IMG]

Should be a nice flyer. Update on how it does in air. I'm getting tired of my students learning on a foam lazybee then jumping to 3D stuff. This looks like a second step.

Nice job! At that size it could be a great AP plane.

wow! that looks like a load of fun! i love Cessna's aircraft and i am happy to see anything anyone comes up with to model them. one thing i do get tired of is that every high wing single engine Cessna the rc industry comes up with is a "skylane". i have the majority of my time in 172 "skyhawks" and 150a and b models. the straight tail, fastback 150 is much faster and a better flying airplane than the 152's. phlatprinter friends...hook a brotha up!!!

Working on a full fuse version, I can't stand gear hanging off the sides
Since there are 2 fuse sides you glue together on the profile version plus lateral support pieces the full fuse version should come in about the same weight.
Working on tabbing and unfolding now.
