I didn't know exactly where to put this thread so I stuck it in general so I hope its not out of place.

I don't have a phlat printer but would like to try some of the designs on the forum. Is there a simple way to print off the plans to scale with sketchup ? Maybe even tiled for more than one sheet of paper ? Where I live right now I simply don't have room for a phlatprinter. I listen to ATTF and The Crash Cast and am very interested in the phlatprinter because of them.

Where do you live? If you live around central Ohio I would be happy to cut them out for you.

I'm in SoCal and I'd also be happy to cut them for you if you are near by.

The plans aren't really designed to be printed and cut out....

    Hance,

Here is a tutorial to convert any of the sketchup plans to tiled pdf. You should also install the "phlatscript" plugin, since it is common practice to have the sketchup file marked up with phlatlines to generate the cnc code. Phlatlines are just colored lines (yellow, blue, reddish, green, etc) that show the actual cut path of the tool. You can delete them easily, with the phlatscript.

Thanks for the offer guys I am sure I will take you up on some kits. I just need to decide exactly what I want. I am in south eastern Idaho by the way. Out in the middle of nowhere.
