Who needs Phlaty??? Who needs foam??? We have ORIPLANE!!! :D :D :D

http://www.oriplane.com/en/top.html. Click on 'Oriplane' and then on 'How to fold'.

I've tried the Super Fin and found it to be WAY nose heavy. Cuttlefish, though, was rather nice.

Fond memories of paper airplanes as a youth. Still have all the books I had as a kid (60-70's) The classic Naval variants were my best time maker, but the harder to make Slider variants paid off well also.

Good stiff straight lightweight paper is the key for indoor times in the 20's. Oh, and a good arm that's warmed up first. The launch in the World Record vid of 27.9 is quite a feat.

Of course then came the 'Whitewings' designs and everything changed for the better. I lost many to the thermal gods while teaching the neighbor kids the art. It was always cool to get the wing half back that had my addy and a stamp. Some went across the country.

I've never pp'ed a Whitewings because they're so simple. A trimmed paint stir stick as a fuse and scale the wings and empanage(sp?) and your good to go as a catapult chucky .
