    Hey guys,
I got this cool little keychain camera last week and got a chance to use it last weekend.
I thought you guys might get a kick out of the video.

The camera I bought off Ebay for $16 here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160369400037&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
There is a good thread on Rcgroups (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1115052) about these little cameras. There is a few different types out there so it is best to know which to get.
The main downfall to these cameras is it puts a time stamp on it, and the only way to remove it is crop the video like I did in this one. The video on the other hand is really good for the price, and it's even better before all the compression that you tube does to it.

That was cool! I like how you can actually hear the wind too instead of just propeller buzz like most aerial videos. I would have to hide this video from my flying club or they might kick me out for "Flying waaaay to far behind the flight line"

That's the beauty of the prop being so far back. It's pretty cool listening to the difference between positive and negative g's.
I never would have done this around the morning crowd that's for sure. The afternoon guys love this kind of stuff, and being that there were only 2 other guys there at the time I said sure why not LOL. Flight line...what flight line.

    Sweat! Good flying there 3DMON!

These little cameras are great. I bought a FlyCamOne2 from Sonicraven which set me back a $100 only for it to quit working 3 weeks later. I sent it back for repair and 2 months later still don't have it back. The guy keeps telling me he is putting another one in the mail, but then it never arrives so I bought one similiar to yours for $12 off eBay and got it right away and it is working just fine.

    Don't buy anything from http://www.sonicraven.com !!!

    Hi Shaun,
The video is really cool and fun! One question about these cameras though....
Do you need to buy a memory card to go with them, as the e-bay advert for them was a bit unclear on that point?? It just said that they didn't include one.

If you don't need an extra card that's even better because the price is very good. What sort of recording time do they have??

    Best Regards,
    Julian (Fozzy The Bear)

You will need a seperate micro sd card for it to work. A 2 gig card is plenty and they can be found on Ebay super cheap too.
I haven't found out how much recording time it gets yet but I know a 5min flight took almost 1/2 a gig on my card. Some of the guys in the rcgroups thread where making it sound like it could record a lot longer, like an hour on a 2 gig card, but I don't see that happening. The guys over there are also saying it stops recording once it reaches the 2 gig mark so if you had a bigger card you would have to start recording again.

Here is a great site with tons of info on these cameras:

Great!!! The price of these cameras is almost sinfully cheap!! That's like pocket money prices. Astounding image quality for such a tiny lens as well. I just put an order in :D The image quality beats the heck out of those $80 flycam ones.

That's two things I owe you a beer for today! ;)

    Best Regards,
    Julian (Fozzy The Bear)
