Thanks Martin. I responded on the thread and I see a few other folks have as well.

I see that member, bhawken, has registered here a few days ago. He may even be reading this thread right now. Everybody, just be careful, as too much overt promotion can have the opposite effect. Especially, don't join that forum, just to comment on that one thread. I know that turns me off, when I see it on rcgroups.

    Good point Kwok,
We thought that maybe he needed to hear from someone who has been using a Phlatprinter

Before I buy anything, I spend alot of time reading reviews, so many happy owners of the PP can't be a bad thing.

I've bought a lot from Dave. I thought they were going to start producing GCode for use on the PhlatPrinter. Dave is a member of this forum too I believe.

Wouldn't hurt to cross promote since he sells designs to be cut out of foam and the PhlatPrinter cuts designs out of foam....like Peanut butter and Jelly..... :D

We had talked abut that a while ago and we told them that would be great. He was going to include the Phlatcode into his PDFs. Not sure if he is including them or not yet.

Never too much advertisement when you're promoting a good thing! :D

    My point exactly!
Although I can see Kwoks point as well, however, I have never seen or heard from anybody who was not happy with his Phlatty, so I guess a good thing generates good comments...(as opposed to a bad thing like e.g. if you look on the RCGroups under vendors at "Banana Hobbies".
Note: I have never personally bought anything from Banana Hobbies, nor had any negative experiences with them, but that
many bad comments do mean something, even if say only 30% would be true...(Which is a real shame, because the guy makes real nice flight/review vids, and they have some pretty awesome models in their inventory)

As for Dave and Val Powers and Scott Lott at RCPowers, well they carry some awesome models too, and their customer service is much like that of Mark and Trish's, you'll get answered in no time, and IMHO they really care about their customers!

    Later,
    Martin

Man, if they'd put the Phlatcode in their plans packages as well, that would be something! (Been trying tracing in SKP for some time now, but it sure is timeconsuming to get it right!)
