I worked this plane up last year for the indoor flying season, but found out over the summer that it's a great plane for outdoors as long as the winds aren't too high (less than 15mph). I have had great results with both the 1700kv and 1100kv Blue Wonders with a GWS HD 8x6 prop and 2S 500 battery. With a 3s 350 and an 8x4 HD prop, it's a missile! CG is located between 2.75" and 3" from the leading edge.

I'm including a pic of my EPP version so that you can see the CF that glues to the LE of the wing that serves well as protection for the prop. I have slammed the backboards in our gym many times and this little plane just keeps going! I also put an 18" CF arrowshaft on the bottom of the wing span-wise, but with this FFF version, you could get by with less reinforcement, I'm certain.

I used 3 five gram servos on this plane - two for elevons and one for rudder. While you can certainly mod the file and do away with the rudder, I urge you to leave it. It does some real funky stuff with the 3s battery, full speed, when you crank full rudder! ;) Attached files [IMG] [IMG] WannaBug 22.zip (155.6 KB)Â
