    it is the LP version:
    Z90LP Inc Free training DVD - £2500.00 + Vat
    Cutting Area (Z9LP:) X= 1000mm , Y=500mm , Z=90mm

Although the base is very nicely done, I have the following critics:

    1) it doesn't come with a base board.

    Michael answer was:
"The base board is only available for the small machines not the larger sizes."

COME ON! It's a £5 expense. On a £3000 machine? not cool at all. Instead of having it ready to cut, this missing piece almost make it into a kit. I'll have to go to the DIY shop and cut a wooden board to hold material.

    2) the website states it comes with a training DVD. I was expecting a tutorial how to set it up, explanation of cutting parameters/bits for a few materials, etc ... a bit like Mark & Trish tutorials. That's the kind of knowledge I am after!

    Michael's answer was:
"The training video is specific for customers who have ordered Curvecut software, however if you would like to view it it can be found on our free downloads page on our website."

why bother advertising a DVD then... I don't use curvecut (I invested in vectric software).
it's good I got previous experience with the phlatprinter... especially if you can DL it for free...

    UK£ 2500 = 3,632.25 U.S. dollars
    UK£ 3000 = 4,359 U.S. dollars

I don't think you will ever find service in the cnc hobby like Mark and Trishes. They have totally set the standard.

Boy, I totally agree with this statement. The PhlatBoyZ have set a standard that I've seen no one else come close to! Buy a PhlatPrinter and all bases are covered. Anything else and you're pretty much on your own. LOL

If only everything came with the level of customer service that the PhlatBoyZ give. Oh, wait! Didn't most "Made In America" products USED to be this good? What used to be rule now seems to be extreme exception. :D

Good luck with that machine, JBourdon. It looks like it'll be sweet when you got it all set up and figured out.
