I had a humming bird crash

    I feel really bad ! :shock: I had a humming bird fly into my patio screen door whilst i
    sat here watching them on the feeders outside my shop.

    I picked the little female up in my warm hand and blew my breath across her feathers and she picked her head up .
    i sat out on my patio with her in my hand for probably 10 minutes before
    she finally took off flying and flew straight to the closest tree. . I hope the little thing will be ok !

    Im still going to sit here and watch my humming birds but my screen door will be open from now on ! :? Attached files [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Those things are amazing aren't they? There don't seem to be many around here this year. Last year there was a riot almost every day at the feeder. One male thought it was his, and his alone. I didn't realize they could be so territorial...
    Hope your little gal is OK. I'm sure she is... probably just stunned

    Awesome job ewo! Thanks for sharing and thanks for helping the little bird out. That had to be pretty cool. It's not every day you get to hold a humming bird in the palm of your hand.
