Woot! You guys are doing a GREAT job! When I saw all of the goodness in my boxes when they arrived, all I could think was "WOW! A LOT of work went into this thing!".

    Keep up the great work!

And for my Phlat-brethren out there waiting to get theirs, let me just say that it's well worth the wait! This machine is INCREDIBLE!

All of my boxes should be here by Thursday.

It stinks though, I've had all this time knowing I need to prep my hobby room for the build yet still haven't done it LOL. I need to hurry up and get my big profile project done too...arghhh.

We are so excited about this :D

We will let everyone know that after packing a few of the Phlatprinter 3's, we believe we have come up with a better method and we'll be trying that out tonight. Also, all of the boxes that you see (and don't see) in the picture above, will be re-packed as we have decided not to ship with the United States Post Office. This will be the third time packing those little boxes, lol. They have to be right!

Glen was a huge help yesterday getting the first Phlatprinter 3's on their way. Thank you so much!

:| :) :D I cant wait to get my cutter. I already have 3 projects in the works with many more bouncing around my head. BTW thanks Mark for talking with me on the phone about the two sketchups. I downloaded the V7 and used the phlatcode plug in to solve the uneven surface problem I was telling you about. Took all of about 5 minutes including the download lol. That plane is almost done and I will be working on finishing up my other projects before I try to start anything else.

I hate ask cause I know you two are super busy, but curiosity is killing the cat here.... You said "3's" meaning plural. Crash was obviously first, 3DMON was second... I was 3rd on the list... since I did not get a ship notice, I have to ask "was the plural a mistype?" and second, if you are not using the postal service, which carrier have you selected as an alternative?

Thanks Glenn and all the others working on the endless job of packing and preparing these wonderful machines for us all!!!

I just finished building my Phlatformer yesterday. Guyz, I have to say that if every company paid the attention to detail that you do, we would live in a perfect world! Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING that you need to build a Phlatboyz product is included, right down to the glue, sandpaper, and scotch tape!

    What a joy to build!!!!

Hay 3DMON, I feel your pain. I have to modify my PhlatTable to accept the new box, and I haven't even started yet..

Hay Flash, I thought i was 3. I must be 4 or 5 then... I was hoping it was plural too :)

Glad you used the dining room table as packing space...we can't have you being bothered with eating until the kits are shipped

Now that I know the kits are shipping, time just slowed down. Even if I see my kit in a week, it will seem like six months.
I think I was 7th on the list.

Flashsolutions, I can see (written inside the lids of two boxes with a green marker) the numbers 19 and 20. I can't make out the third box - maybe it says "#23" ?
    They're working on it! :)

Trish, all I can say is that I thought *my* wife was tolerant of my Craziness, after seeing that picture I think you've got her beat for tolerance + support of spousal insanity! Way to go!

Dorsal, you've got a good eye, I didn't even notice the writing inside the lids. I just counted number of boxes(11) and assumed mine must be there somewhere. I didn't even consider this could be a second batch or anything.

I did notice the phlatpumkin head in the middle of the boxes at least...

Yes, I know that. I have been watching, and I am not rushing them by any means. I have plenty to keep me busy till it gets here. The post says Phlatprinter 3's (plural) have started shipping, so my question was how many have shipped so far. It appears that maybe 2 have gone out if what was published earlier is still true.

The email from M&T says I was the third person to make my purchase and somewhere I read they were going to ship them in the order the purchases were made, or so I thought.

Which, if that is correct, I should be next on the list since 1 and 2 have gone out already.

So, when I receive a shipping notice, others should be seeing theirs shortly therein.

Shipping notice received for Phlatprinter #3...

If you watched any of the live feed last night, you would see that the Phlatboyz are now putting up a sheet of paper on the wall with the unit # they are currently working on so you can watch your machine being packed. How cool is that!

When you see all of those parts, one has to wonder how they do it. Just the task of keeping all those pieces grouped together in preparation for packing has got to be a huge task, let alone the wrapping and weighing of all those little parts.

And even though I was placing an order for more stuff from them while they were packing my unit, they were able to respond to it and pack it with my Phlatprinter order.

Phlatboyz, you continue to amaze me! What a team!

Yep, what Flash said. I believe I'm #5, and I just happened to tune in as #5 was getting packed up. Sure seemed like a lot of work that was very well orchestrated.
