    oh yeah I was keeping an eye on that. Still messing with that snowmachine for running around on the ground. I'm thinking FF and snow don't mix well though. :cry:

    Ok on second thought, That is an agressive project. :shock: Still have the info. Some nice tricks for assembly that could be applied to other projects.

    Here is a similar one from rcgroups that has always interested me:

    It uses a simple coil for a magnetic compass. But even without the fancy electronics, you can still make one that just hovers. I have the i-top classic, where he got the idea for the magnetic compass. It's pretty neat and will rotate and write text with a single column of leds. And it can calculate velocity, compass direction and who knows what else. Here is video of the i-top:

    He doesn't have it set up to write text, but does use a single led to show the tail direction.
