Hey guyz. Everything seems to be back to normal now after a very eventful day here at the Phlat Lab. Our morning started with a very loud thunderous sound with the house shacking and the power wobbling until it was gone! A very large old tree located acrossed the street from our house snapped from the high winds we were having. It came crashing down right across the busy road that our house sits on missing a passing car by only a few feet. Mark was in the Phlat Lab and saw the tree falling right toward our house and he made a run for it. Luckily, it didn't end up hitting our house but it did manage to rip the power, phone, and cable lines right out of the side our our house and took some siding and an awning with it. We feel blessed that everyone is ok and that there wasn't more damage done. In the end, we can tell you that we have the luckiest mailbox in the world, lol. The tree fell right next to it. Here are some pics!

After living without power and in a total dead zone for most of the day, Mark and I decided we couldnt' take it any more and headed out to see what everyone else who has power and the internet was doing :) A good friend of our's recently gave us a gift certificate to go out to dinner so we decided to cash in on that and do a little Christmas shopping while we were out there. We came home and everything appears to be back to normal. The Phlat Lab as we all know it lives on, lol.

Sorry about the show guyz. We would love to say that it is only postposed until tomorrow but the truth is, tomorrow night is back to work packing the Phlatprinter 3 Kits. We'll be sure to get back on track next week. Thank you.

Wow, that's a big tree. Thank God nobody got hurt, and there was only minor damage.
We have 2 big dead pines in an empty lot next to our house that we are always worried about when hurricane season comes around.
