Hey Guyz, I was wondering how I could set my Z coordinates in Mach3. I need to bring it up to a certain value -.9378
and cant figure how to do this once the machine is up and running! I can use the jog but I have to bounce back and forth until I hit this exact number! Any help would be great!! :)
    thanks
    John

Click on the MDI Alt2 tab and in the input box, type G1 Z-.9738 F10

Flashsolutions, is "G1 Z-.9738 F10" the entire text entry, followed by pressing the "Enter" key, or is the "F10" part performed by pressing the F10 key?

G1 is the command, Z xxx is the value (or Y xxx) for the Y axis, and F10 is the feedrate....

You can substitute whatever feedrate you want... F20, F30, etc

Then the Enter key to send the command

you could also go to the same screen and just put z-0.9378 and hit enter, it will use whatever feed rate was last used.
