I'm sure this is painfully obvious, but not to me.
I am trying to move the selected component so the red X lands on the purple X. I just can't seem to do it.
    So what's the secrete?

OK, got it. Can't use the corner of the component box as a reference point. Need use the item itself

Sometimes you need to orbit in a little different spot to drag a component to where you want also.

Yea, I seem to have a real problem with that when I try to rotate a component...more so on the red axis for some reason.

I'm making a simple trainer for my son, and am trying to do the whole thing in Sketchup....I would have had it done by now if I used AutoCAD, but I want to do it from scratch in SketchUp. Sure am learning a lot this way though.
