Dan...I will try to keep this simple. I finished the build on the A4. I used blue FFF (not my favorite choice). I painted it Navy Blue mainly to test some foam safe paint. The lettering is on PCLables white material. This label material does NOT stick well to painted foam surfaces so I glued it as a back-up. I maidened and test flew this A-4 Skyhawk yesterday and flew it again today. It fly's NICE. It is NOT a hot rod. I am using a Grayson SuperSonic package with a 50amp ESP and a 2200 mAh 3S LiPo. Plane will go vertical and fly's really nice at about 3/4 throttle. This is a nice, big, airplane. I am not going to get any points here for a classy build, but I wanted to get it done and test it out and I am pleased. Nice, Fun airplane. Four photos attacked....

HEck I bet as it's zipping by at 75MPH on the deck, it looks plenty classy enough :)

I hear you loud and clear rcav8r...with a little altitude, they all look grey to me and at 75mph one can barely see the flaws. Now, on to something else!

hey chuck glad to se you got her in the air.the plane looks great. the set that the plane was built around is a towerpro 2409-12 1800kv 7*5 apc prop.you can scale down a tad .the first one i built was fore a 64 prop but flew too slow so it got scaled up fore a 7*5 prop range .the same set up the f-15 .and mig 25. but iam glad you likeed it ..

Thanx Dan. I find it hard to make a really nice looking airplane with blue FFF. Oh, just a thought, the black printing on that stuff is stubborn. I got some cheap (1 dollar) spray cleaner from Dollar General store. I saturated a paper towel with it and laid it over the print for about 5 minutes then took off the towel and wiped the print off with a soft rag. It did a pretty decent job. I sprayed most of the A4 with Testors model paint. It works nice but is way too expensive for blue FFF. The plane fly's nice as set up. It could be faster but probably not for me to keep up with.I wish thee was a really good strong way to put some trike landing gear on it and am open to suggestions.

Would it be posible to get the Sketchup file for this.
My Phlatprinter MK1 has a narrower width than a stock MK1 and I will need to move the parts around to get them to cut out.

The Sketchup file is there in the first post. It's hiding at the bottom of it.
