Phlatprinter /// #70 is complete

    The build went very well. I just stuck the dvd in my laptop and started from there.

    Not really sure how much time I put into it as I worked on it during moments of free time and only worked on it for more than a couple of hours once on friday afternoon.

    I'll power it up tomorrow and give it a test drive.

    Congrats! After a few test runs keep an eye on the X axis stepper pulley. That particular pulley seems to be loaded the most. It may have a tendency to work loose at the set screw or seperate the plastic drive gear from the metal core. If you start seeing missed steps on the X axis you might want to try the all metal version of the stock pulley that a few of us have went to.

    I made my first cut last night. There was a bit of a mixup with my CNC software code but after getting that taken care of I managed to cut out a circle and square out of depron.

    I'll have to try out a few different materials and bits before I start cutting plywood parts for my tricopter.
