Just to let everybody know, I probably got a spam using FED EX.

    The body,

    FedEx notice,

Your package has been returned to the FedEx office.
The reason of the return is - Incorrect delivery address of the package.
Please print out the invoice copy attached and collect the package at our office.

    FedEx Customer.

Looks legit, but it contained a zipped file that contained a virus. I contacted a local FED EX office and was told that if they send an email that there would be nothing zipped attached.

Yep... an oldie.. I think it's a coincidence that you received this after you used fedex.

I'm surprised your Spam filter didn't snag it. I checked ours here at work, and over the last two weeks (how long we keep logs) I had 3 pages (50 per page) worth of blocked messages "from" fedex...

The email was filtered out, but I often check the folder because of expected emails from unknown senders. First time I received the email, but now I expect to see it again. :nervous:

I received a similar email from 'USPS'. I don't think it's a coincident, rcav8r, that these come just after you've sent a package, like I did. I never received one before or since. Just after I've sent that one package a couple of weeks ago.

Just for giggles I looked up some of the blocked Spam we got... almost all were from hosts that were on multiple black lists... We do not even accept email from a server that is on even one black list. Also we have about 20 domains coming into our mail server.... When they hit it they broadcast to a bunch of the same user on the various domains, one right after the other...
I have seen this in my account in the past (blocked, we never accepted the message) , and I have not shipped via FedEx.....

That is interesting on the timing of the two of you guys though. Did you do a reverse lookup/black list check on the REAL sender?
