I agree with you buddy, here is a little update. Cut out my templates and place some scaling object that will give you a bit better feel of how big this Jeep-O-Plane will be...

Yes Huge it will be for sure! I will cut my different part tonight, I have to reduce my slots obviously as they don't match 5mm tickness but that is little to do. No biggy.

I hope to get things done today, I will upload a step by step building log for this one instead of a finished product so people can take it step by step.

Well I traced out my parts Yesterday and the complete build came onto 4 Depron sheets as I wanted the wing to be in one piece instead of making 4 half wings.

The fuselage only fullfil 1 sheet alone for bothe side, another sheet is used for the top and bottom part and the firewall.

The top wing is place on diagonal along with the horizontal stab/elevator and the second wing occupies another sheet.

I will have a lot of waist of Depron from the wing sheets but at the end I will always reuse what is left over for this build or some other builds... No worries.

Just to remind you all my Depron sheets are of: 39.5 inches by 27.5 inches in dimension. So it will be huge lol :D

I did some minor rectification on the size of the slots to accomodate my thickness of 5mm Depron.

I should start cutting my parts tonight, minor adjustments will still need to be done once the parts are cut since it is not that easy to work on suck big parts if you don't tape down the template on the foam. I never do and I always place similar parts next to eachother to rectify when they are cutted out.

The fuselage will be in two tone color, I have here in the UAE available vinyl covered Depron with many colors so side fuse is blue color, top/bottom and firewall is in red color. The wings and horizontal stab/elevator are white color...

I will clear tape my wings and stab/elev for stiffeness but also I will be using sticky A4 lable paper to add some cosmetic looks to it and the clear tape will protect whatever design I'm going to apply on it.

Cosmetic look will not be crazy as such, probably some numbers and some custom line... I'm not sure yet of what I'm going to do.

One thing for sure all my different forum's logo I'm member of will be on the plane.

Phlat Forum, RCG, RCPowers, RCPAK, Mikey'sRC...

That is all for now. More to come stay tune!

    Fuselage side

    Fuselage top/bottom/Firewall

    Wing with horizontal stab/elevator

    2nd wing

There might be slight difference in wing size, if it is the case I will place the smaller wingspan as bottom wing. Attached files [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

My parts are cut now... still need to do the hatches and noches in the top and botoom fuselage bit.

Altought it is a quick build, I'm having difficulties to find enought time to progress on it... I will see if tonight I can do my wings since that will be the most time consuming in all the build.
