I am a new member here and am researching a CNC to build. I thought there would be a kit or at least the outer pre-cut chassis here but the store has nothing but other parts. Where do I go to get the wood cut parts since I would need a CNC to cut the parts but do not have one?

For one . You do not need a cnc to cut the part's .
The Plans for the Mk1 , and the Mk2 "so far have been released to the public .
This means that you could make yourself one for little of nothing. and know it works well !

    I pay 17 $ for a full 4x8 ft sheet of 1/4 mdf and that's with a special order

I am a total noobe to this thing. I can handle electronics and mechanics as I have been a large printer repair tech for years. About to retire and get back into RC planes again. I wonder if there are plans for the old midwest sweet stick for this thing or a laser cutter?

Just viewed a couple of openbuild videos. Sweet! I guess I will have to find a way to get those frame pieces cut out somehow.
