When you are flying a new plane and the trim is off so bad that you need someone to help you trim it because you can't take your fingers off the sticks, make sure you have a helper that knows what the heck he/she is doing!!!

I was flying my newly cut out Funder & Lighting last evening and yelled for some help in trimming it because i couldn't take my fingers off the sticks (way out of trim)
A guy from the club comes over and asks what I needed.
"I need alot of up trim" I say.
He proceeds to push waaaaaay up on the trim lever (which everyone knows actually is down trim)
Plane begins nose dive towards Mother Earth with a deafening crunch as the unintentional brakes were applied by said earth.

Life lesson number 1 is quickly learned.

But Jeff, you said to push the trim UP... what do I know.... I'm such a dummy. Can I help you charge your battery? Here, let me plug the red wire into this black sleeve....

I was expecting you to say he turned the tx off. It happens, I know. To bad about the plane :(

Life lesson 2, Double check all throw directions no matter how many times you've explained it to your student. Long story short, cox easy bee .049, 5 minutes of everything backwards to a smooth landing

Loss of the plane wasn't too bad, It destroyed the motor though, that's what stings
