Needs to be converted to g-code, but here is the final model read to go.
The spacing is setup for a 1/16 dia bit, you can use a 1/8 but you may have to adjust some things.
Remember this is a BIG bird with a 48 inch wing span. The airframe takes 3 sheets, the canopy is one more for a total of 4. Perhaps one can save some dow and carve a canopy instead, I leave it up to the builder.

I highly recommend a LOW kv motor. It would be best in the 800 range.
    I will try a BL 2820-06 and a 11 or 12 inch prop.

I recommend a light plywood firewall, a template is included for the motor I plan to use.

This plane can be built very light and quickly. There is no need for fiberglass. The wing is setup to take a straight CF rod for stiffening. I am hoping for a 2S 12" prop setup, but we will see.

I left the method to include aileron servos somewhat open, I will use my thread method.
In addition the ailerons will need to be cut AFTER you assemble the wing. The dimensions are listed on the plan view dwg in the model.

I will see about getting some vid up on how to make the fuse from blue foam, it's very simple.

More on the drawing / model.
The small triangles are arrows, they always point up or forward / top. All arrows should be cut using the center line tool at ~40% depth. All other intersection lines are fold lines, a 50% cut should be fine. Please note to save foam the wings are NOT grouped together, you will need to cut both sheets to assemble one.

More later, it's getting late! Attached files Extra Version1.skp (1.6 MB)Â

Don't let the part count scare you, there are one, maybe two tricky bends in this one, and it should go together in a snap.
Thanks for all the complements guys, but I really want to know who is going to be the first one to build this? (I'm building it to)

Assembled the fuse tonight, all went well, but I will be making some minor changes. Took some vid too, but it will take a bit to get up.

This design is superb work Erik.... It should be a really good flyer. I don't personally fly 3D's, just not my thing. But with low rates set on the throws and given the superb weight distribution in this airframe it should fly really well in normal flight as well.

    Superb!!!

    Best Regards,
    Julian (Fozzy The Bear)
