    AFAIK, Idle Current adjustment depends on the controller board you are using, and it is often enabled or adjusted via a jumper or potentiometer on the controller board itself. Unless the controller board has some provision for variability of the current, there is nothing Mach can force it to do.

    Looks like these power shut down features would be a nice feature for the Phlatboard. ;) Mark, I am just curious if that guy is still serious about doing that project?

    Yes he is, I just talked to him about 3 days ago so that is still in the works.
    He was really busy for a while but now he started back on the Phlatboard project.
    We are really excited about this and hope to see a prototype soon!

    These stepper motor are good prices, but what kills me is the shipping to Canada.

    Also they do not do corp account for Canada, so the 12.99 US = 14.06CND + shipping and handling + Duty + UPS handling fees(50.00CND), so for me its not that good of a deal.

    What would be good deal for me would be someone orders a few extra and I pay them to ship them to me USPS and mark it as gift and declare the value of $15.00 for 3 motor.

    So if anyone is willing to sell me a few motor I would be happy to by them + shipping.

    If anyone from Canada ordered them plz feel free to let me know if I'm wrong in my calculations.
