Hey Guys, Thought I would do a little Mod on the speeder to get her flying better, I call this one the Speeder Bike Fatty. I will be doing the maiden later today(wind permitting) !! It came in about an ounce heavier but twice the lift area :)
Stay tuned and thanks for the interest!!

John looks great. :geek: Man thoes Elevons are HUGE. Are you afraid that you might strip a servo? You Could put some ballanceing tabs on them.
Something like this. you could even put two on there.

    Cheers

Thanks E-T, I thought that at first but remember the elevons are almost 4ft away from the prop so I am relying on control based on the forward movement of this heap o foam LOL. It doesnt move very fast so I was concerned it would have little or no control.
Still a cool idea, I could always try it on the next one!!Here is the zip if you want to play around with it!!

    Thanks

Hi Chris, thanks for the nice words :) I just did the maiden of my Modded Speeder and it was awesome!! I need to get my Brothers nice video cam and get some clips of this bad boy! I was able to get a few 8 minute continuous flights on this one and it has 40% more wing area. Definitely a keeper !!! :D
