Stepper removal ports

    I only made two mods durring my intial phlatprinter build.

    1. Added some ports for stepper removal on the side of the phlatprinter. As you can see from the photos I will still have to clear the inner side plate by using the port edges as a guide for my dremel bit, however, once this is done I'll be able to remove the steppers if needed.

    Because of the stepper port mod, I shifted the control curcuit board mounts forward. Attached files [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    I'm considering doing this mod for my build too. Now that I know about it, I'll use the two side pieces to transfer (read=>trace) the 'cut lines' to the outer wall before I begin the build. I'll also tap the mounting lugs on the stepper for hex-head bolts to thread into. That way I avoid washers and nuts when I try to remove and replace the stepper motors. Thanks.
