Dennis here is the disk with the controls that i tried. the right thrust was drawn at 2 degs. it looks backwards but isnt as this view was drawn as the bottom. this is so i could cut the hinge lines, as my machine cuts from the top now....the cg was at the very center of the disk. as a disgusting failure, i was prepared for that also, as i know absolutely nothing about airframe design. i set up the controls with tailerons with no rudder. ther was absolutely no directional control....it was so pathetic i see no reason to continue on even though it looks cool. after i landed it the second time with no steering control what so ever, i decided to just move forward. i have enough white hair, lols. randy. thanks Shaun....i cut a edge with a 32in span for a friend, man that's the best foamie i ever seen....i was going to put my new efforts into my own next. my eagle, and clik-xl are winners also. its natural to have things not go rite all the time, lols. maybe someday i will return the the enterprise.....but as of now, it went so bad ther is absolutely no reason to continue on....with age comes wisdom, when to stop bangin your head for nothing....maybe if i had just a little directional control i would feed better about it. kills me the controls were extreme with tons of throw....to no avail. randy.

Hey Randy, if you don't mind I'd like to have a glimpse of the SU file. If nothing else I like to build one and paint it and add LEDs just to have as a show piece.

buk, or anyone that wants the drawings to the starship model. these are all the drawings, cut files i have. again i don't want to sound negative...but this model did not fly....if i was ever to mess with it again, i would try to fudge the proportions, add a rudder, and do something with the control surfaces. i am not sure what this model needed, it was so funky...any good positive feelings i had, left me the second the model took flight, if ya wanna call it that, lols. should of got video of the big corkscrew flight...only control working was the throttle, the control surfaces, might as well not have been installed. a very big failure to say the least. randy.

I will give it a go. Some of my 3D skills are improving. Here is a P51 I've been working on.

    That looks great.
The p-51 is very trendy rite now with the Park zone ones comming out.
lol I just started designing one while I was at the airport w8tn for my flight back to NJ friday. It was a Phlat-51. I cut one out and it's to flimsy so last night I spent half the night working it up to Full Fuse. I'm going to keep it kinda square not round like yours. GL can't wait to see the final.

    Cheers

How did the Enterprise ever turn out? John, can you be bought to cut out a kit for me? It looks just too good not to have one flying or not.

Please let me know via my email.

wartoy, where do you live? (please add it to your profile)
You might live near somebody who owns a PP but we can't tell.
