Ok, I am going with a Balsa leading edge and 2 basswood strips for my wing.
Seems to want to work out much better than trying to bend all that stuff around and keep the wing flat and straight. Attached files [IMG] [IMG]

Here is my feeble attempt at using colored packing tape on the fuse

Jeff that looks sharp!! Where did you get the tape?

Randy, I like the idea of a wing construction thread...that would be a good resource for folks who wanna try something other than a flat plate...and we could all benefit!

Ok, I got back to this after being at the field Sunday and seeing a couple guys fly their big fuel plane sticks.

I pocketed the sides of the fuse out so it would be smooth on the outside, working on converting the wing over now.

I think it looks really nice now, well, except for my crappy iron cross artwork.

I will get this finished, fly it and post the final code once i'm happy with it. Attached files [IMG]

    Thanks,
The wing I designed never worked out right.
Good idea on pocketing the tabs, never thought of that
If you need any stickers for it I can cut some vinyl ones.
I may try and make a 1/2 scale version using 1/8" foam for an indoor flyer.
