Ok, I am going with a Balsa leading edge and 2 basswood strips for my wing.
Seems to want to work out much better than trying to bend all that stuff around and keep the wing flat and straight. Attached files

Randy, I like the idea of a wing construction thread...that would be a good resource for folks who wanna try something other than a flat plate...and we could all benefit!

I got the tape at http://www.lazertoyz.com/ under the accessories tab you will find it.

 

Ok, I got back to this after being at the field Sunday and seeing a couple guys fly their big fuel plane sticks.

I pocketed the sides of the fuse out so it would be smooth on the outside, working on converting the wing over now.

I think it looks really nice now, well, except for my crappy iron cross artwork.

I will get this finished, fly it and post the final code once i'm happy with it. Attached files

The wing I designed never worked out right.
Good idea on pocketing the tabs, never thought of that
If you need any stickers for it I can cut some vinyl ones.
I may try and make a 1/2 scale version using 1/8" foam for an indoor flyer.
