hello fellas, i think i ran into my last hick-up.....i got the z-axis and the x-axis done and running perfect. now as i check things out on the y, i see i have a gross misalignment.....i have two ideas on the fix, one is to oblong the motor mount like the x-axis...the other is to relocate the nut. the alignment is off .125 to low. i know we have alot of smart fellas that built the printers, and i would like your inputs, on this fix. hopefully this will be the last mod i have to make, lols. thanks, randy.

    front to back is good....

I would go ahead and connect the coupling between the stepper shaft and the y-axis all-thread. Then try running the y-axis in Mach3 to see if you have problems. In my phlatprinter this screw was a little off also, but once I connected the coupling (air hose section in my kit) and ran the y-axis I did not have any problems because of the slight misalignment. The threaded rods seem to be able to flex slightly to take up any misalignment. Actually my y-axis all-thread got straighter after running the y-axis back and forth a few times as Mark mentioned in the build video, this suprised me but it is true.

That does look better! I'll have to make the same oblong hole mod, maybe I can get a little more speed out of the steppers then.
