3D laser/webcam scanner

    I did a laser/web cam with mach using point cloud software written by (art) same guy that made mach3.
    I made up a small carriage for the Phlatprinter with the correct web-cam/laser pointer angles and tried some test, but never really got any good results, I think because of the lacking point cloud software.
    I hope that you are more successful.

    What is the concept here Mark? Is the webcam supposed to convert points of light from the laser pointer into useful data? It sounds interesting.
