    In the profiles box there is a "generate 3D code". Is there information about this, can we create 3D with a cnc using sketchucam?

    There is a new help page on this in the 'any day now' new release.

    Yes it generates simple 3D cut paths.
    No, they are not very good as there is a bug in the tool offset so the object is cut too small. The code has no documentation and I have not yet figured out how it works, and have failed to contact the original writer for help.

    You should try PyCAM instead, which imports an STL file. You can get a plugin to export STL from Sketchup.
    or, if you want complicated 3D parts cut very accurately and smoothly, try Fusion360. It is very complicated though, so do watch some tutorial videos like the ones by NYC CNC on youtube.

    Thanks for the suggestion, I've downloaded it so I'll check it out. The OX is assembled. Good timing for delivery as we are snowed in so nothing else to do but put it together.
