    Neat designs.
I'm trying to figure out that Blowbug though. I see the motor for vert lift, but what makes it go forward?

Yea, I did the same they were 1" and had to bring them down to 3/4" I don't know if I should sand a airfoil on them or not? Kram I like the rib in the half span of the wing I didn't think of that...

You mean on each slat? not sure but I'm sure that it can hurt if you think about it, it should reduce drag

Cool, I wonder if a brushless motor and a impeller from a ducted fan would work on that blow bug? Just might try it-

Cant be very efficient that way, the way the air has to make that right angle then out the back, Im assuming thats whats going on there, intaking through the canopy, then makes that angle to go out the 3/4" hole in the back-

filthybeast, I think the idea here is to make a lot of little wings all on the same thrust line like a normal wing.

    Hey Mark,
I think he's refering to the blowbug(first model in the zip file).
I agree with ya beast, I don't think it would be very efficient either, but it should fly.
I would open that tail end up quite a bit more though...3/4" is way too small.
Please post plans if you decide to make it.

    Shaun
