Yes, I'm new, and no, I don't have one of these Phlatprinters yet. Doesn't mean I'm not panting for one after seeing all you can do with them. But I do have a couple of questions about it that I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

    1) Can I use the siding foam that is found in Home Depot/Lowes in this machine?

    2) Is there a way to widen the printer to accept the 4 ft width of those sheets?

I really want one of these machines, and might have to just grab parts as I can afford them. My plans is to make dollhouses and furniture out of foam for myself and my grandchildren and children that want one. Some of the designs I've looked at would take almost the full 4 ft width to cut out the front or sides.

It would be quite an undertaking to widen the gap in the center. However the nice thing about this design is that your length is virtually unlimited so you would just print the walls sideways.

I routinely make planes out of 1/4" fan fold foam that I bought at lowes.
