As the best holiday of the year fast approaches, I find myself wanting to cut a couple of foam skeletons to scare the living daylights out of the little kiddies.

I have found about every skeleton know to man, and some that are not known, but I have not been able to find a good file for the human skeleton.

Please post one if you have it.

    Thanks
    David

I found a Mr. Bones image. It will have to be cleaned and converted.

Here's another idea from Mjolnir07 on Joe's Hybrid Forum. It really needs dayglow paints and a hidden blacklight in the trees. No CNC or jpg files exist other than his originals, but you can make your own "Tree Monster".

Sheeesh! I finally got done with the "escapee" skeletons for the lawn (the upper picture).
It's setup for 1/8" bit, 100 IPM, 6mm thick material, T-tabs, PP I or II (2 sheets of FFF 24X48)

By the way, both sheets cut-out just fine. I've learned to keep my air-hose handy, just in case something pops free, to quickly blow it away from the rollers. It works pretty well. Attached files [IMG] Skeletons.zip (1.6 MB)Â

I've got a note of warning about making my skeletons.
I got done making, painting and cutting out the set of 5 skeletons, but when I was stacking up all the parts, one guy was completely missing! Well, I searched all over the garage, and found this guy was trying to make a getaway in my wife's car!

I think I'll leave him there so she can take him to school tomorrow and teach him a thing or two!
(He does seem to be a bit of an air-head!) ;) Attached files [IMG]

    OH! They're everywhere!
Is it an invasion or an infestation of ghostly skeletons?
Strange, it seems to happen around this time, every year!

Notes: I used the "tubes" that are cut off from the FFF (to separate the sheets) and glued them up the spines of the skeletons, on the back. Then I bought a bundle of 75 landscaping stakes (the 16" long wire kind, with an orange plastic flag) ($8 at Lowe's) and ran one of them through that tube and into the ground.
I did the same thing along the backside of the bigger "bone" in the legs, to help support them.
Any water-based latex primer works perfectly on this foam, and the weight doesn't matter. I used white Zinser Bulls-Eye.
Also, I created the cnc file for my 1/8" bit because I don't remember where I put my 1/16" bit, but it would work a lot better if the file were regenerated for a 1/16" bit. I think all the dropout pieces would stay attached by using the smaller bit, also.

btw Trish, I figured there were enough "happy face" skeletons around, and wanted these guys to look more serious about their business.

I have 2 subdued lights that I am going to put beneath the pumpkins and behind the skeletons, a fog machine to produce, well, fog, and some scary music...It should be a spooky place tomorrow night. Halloween is my most favoritest holiday of them all, I get to make LOTS of kids happy, and sccare the poo poo out of them too!
