Just finished up my latest build. Just could not figure out a good way to stiffen up that nose and finally just put a cf rod across the front to keep the flexing down. Need to make some minor changes and I'll put this up. 37" ws and it is very rigid now.

oh man this thing flys great. No trimming at all right out of the hand. auw 27g. Could have gone with a rudder but elevon control was great. :)

    Looking cool Frank.

I see your using a pushrod method I just figured out.
I use to always do that but with carbon, then the other day I remembered I had some thinner than usual bamboo skewers and thought they should work just as well.
I was surprised how great they do work, and they are lighter than the carbon I was using.
    No slop at all.

Bamboo skewers (slapping one self on the forehead). How come I didn't think of it while fighting with the sloppy stuff I used.

Yeah. I got tired of using the metal control rod. Thought hey 1/8" dowel is strong enough. Just use my z bend pliers and some electrical tape and I'm good to go. Done quite a few so far and no slippage or failure. I use credit card strips for control horns. Just heat up the control rod and run it through for a no slop connection.

That looks very cool. Are the SU and Phlatcode files posted somewhere? Looks like one I need to build.

any questios or comments let me know Ray. I've actually sold 11 of those. Only real question I got was where to start with the cg. It will be just in front of where the servos are located.
