I was looking for a better way of storing all of my batteries and chargers that I lug to the field. I have an aluminum case I bought from Harbor Freight that I was dumping everything into - which probably wasn't the safest way to transport a lot of lipos...

Anyway, I decided to draw up plans for some compartments that I could drop into the case for batteries. Here is what I came up with. I hope others can at least use the idea, as I know that not everyone uses the same batteries, capacities, etc. that I do. Modifications would be needed to suit individual purposes.

GREAT idea!! I thought about doing this for my LiPo transporter...a fireproof safe. I tried a quick fix of velcro strips hoping to use the velcro that was already on the packs, but the velcro wouldn't stay stuck to the safe...so it turned into a sloppy mess.

I was also thinking this would easily tell me if I was missing a pack. An empty slot meant a missing pack. Not sure if I am that organized though. I tried all sorts of methods to "mark" a charged pack, but I can never seem to be diligent enough for them to work.

Here is my Fireproof Safe Home charing area. To heavy for travel
If there is a Problem I can just shut the lid.
The best way That I have found to mark dead or used batterys is a small box marked...Not charged
The best boxes are the smal ones from Hobby Lobby
I carry my batterys in a double sided tackle box.

    Cheers
