    Hey guyz,
I saw this quads build video and fell in love with it :D I could never afford such a cool quad but man if I could!
Maybe we could get some ideas from it to build our own version?

Here is the link to the site, be sure to check out some of their other videos :good:

Some of the parts are available from a US seller too. They might be the ones who build the plates. Once I figure out how to fly my VIC 450 (its mostly the quadrino and esc's that have slowed me down), i'd like to get their set. I like the built in circuit board like the DJI flamewheel quad.

Cool jonquinn, its really a great idea to have all (most) of the wiring in the board like this. I remember seeing a micro quad done this way to save on wire weight!
    Thanks for the link :)

OV3RQUAD: Open Source DIY FPV Frame for all
    http://forums.openpilot.org/topic/13079 ... e-for-all/
Features: Fully symmetrical (566mm diagonal mtm). Prop-free video on widest GoPro setting - up to 10inch props. Simple, but sturdy design. Dirt cheap arm replacement. ov3rlens compatible. Can be cut on your own out of Lexan (requires elbow grease) or milled from G10 by your favorite CNC "friend" :)

    Material Requirements:
G10/FR4 .0625 thickness assumed in DXF.
DJI 450/550 Arms (clone arms are not encouraged due to poor mold and built-in torsion defect)
Standoffs cut to size of DJI arms (~37mm)
Jello-Killer: My personal holy grail of vibration elimination. Apply on ALL surfaces in contact with gopro, then strap down tight. Attached files [IMG] [IMG]
