Here is a cool little project
A chess set with opposing colors made from one cut!
The way it works is to stack two pieces of 6mm depron (one black and one white) on top of one another put them in the Phlatprinter and print it. No glue or tape needed. Once the first cut is made they will fuse together and hold.
Once the cut is complete you cut the tabs from the bottom layer and carefully pull them apart.
This will make the entire board and players.
If someone has the depron to make this and does it, please post pictures.
Test the code on a couple scrap pieces of foam first to get the correct depth of cut.
    Enjoy

Time is the illusion of things that must be done confined to the space to do them in :D

I don't think it would be too hard to make the code for this one.
It looks like the pieces from one set come from the cutouts of the other very nice!
Maybe someone will take on the challenge of making this :)

OK, I took up the challenge! :D I made it for 1/8 plywood but it is not a problem to make it for a thicker material. Just erase 15 circles, make the change to the one left and than copy it times fifteen. No G-code either since it has to be done individually for the size of the plywood sheet to be used. The PhlatLines are for a 1/16 bit.

    Very cool Yoram!
    Great job!
I have reworked this for 1/4" foam and a 1/16" bit or others to try out as well.
    Thanks again
