Hello, I'm trying to mill a simple circle using my CNC running gcode from Sketchucam. When I send a 5" square, I've calibrated my machine to mill a perfect 5" square. When I try the same thing with a circle it doesn't start from the correct place and then it tries to mill beyond the safe zone. I tried using the centerline tool and the outside tool with the same results. Is there something special about routing a circle?

    Thanks!

    Hi Jim
Please attach your sketchup file so I can see it.
Also tell me more about your machine. What controller and what software to run it?

that file describes a 5" circle. it does not tell me the cutter bit size and whether you are trying to cut inside or outside because you have turned comments off.
I will guess that this is a centerline cut because X starts at 1.36" and moves to 6.38" which is 5.019"
    is your cutter 0.02"
    I don't have enough information.

you did not attach your Sketchup file! since the Gcode comes from that, that is where the answers lie.
you did not answer my question about the machine controller and software.
you did not tell me more about your machine. like, how big is it?

    You should watch these videos:
