Hey everyone,
I have an older Dell with a 2.2 processor, half a gig of ram running on windows 7 32 bit,
and a Toshiba laptop with a 2.2 dual-core processor, 4 gigs of ram on windows 7 64 bit.
The laptop runs the software with no problem but the desktop will not import the settings from the installation disk. Can it be that the older computer just is not compatible sense my bran new laptop runs it just fine?

Withoout knowing more details its kinda tough to say exactly what the problem is. That said that amount of memory for a windows 7 desktop is really really low. Bumping it to 2 gigs should vastly inncrease its performance with everything. That poor harddrive is probably thrashing madly to run basic things. Bumping the desktop to 4 gigs is even better wont do you any good beyond that though as thats the limit for 32 bit machines.
