This may be my old computer having a conflict with cncusb.

SInce day 1, I've had problems with crashes when the cncusb software opens. It usually has crashed the pc after software opens, preceeded by the monitor flashing on and off. After the 3rd reboot I've beem able to go and do cuts.

Probably now, it's gone too far without addressing it.

Now also when I jog the machine on any axis, the jog runs slow and will not stop unless I e-stop it.

I've been ignoring it till now (of course) since I could get away with it.

    But too late now

I am running a vintage year 2002 Dell with windows xp pro

I don't have the CNC board, but I remember folks having problems with the video drivers. I forget the particulars. Check the website for the CNC board/software. Solution may be there.
If not I'm sure he developer will chime in shortly as he frequents this board.

e-mailed him. It was the video card it seems. Out tech support guy at work switched it out and now things look to be normal. The jog issues have seemed to have cleared up also.
