A friend of mine has a 1/3rd scale Balsa USA Fokker D7 , It is equipped with a paint ball gun......No it does not fire any balls (i wish ,that would be cool!)..........It just makes a loud sound when firing.
He has it hooked up to his gear switch.
He was trying to find a way to to mount the air cylinder for the gun. I just happen to be there helping him do some work on it when I had a light bulb pop above my head.
I can make something on my Phlatprinter.
Well here is what I have come up with.
Now I have to try and find a timer circuit so we can mount bright white LEDs in the gun nozzles and have them blink in time with the air gun. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

Don't time the LEDs, go even simpler and mount a switch, mechanical or magnetic, that'll be tripped by the paintgun's bolt passing it. You won't want to activate the switch at either end of the bolt travel, or the LEDs will stay on either when the gun is cocked, or when he runs out of air.

I found some plug-n-play lights with integrated circuits.

I think these will work, run a switch between the light and 9 volt battery and have a y connector on the gear channel and have a servo turn the switch on and off, along with the servo that activates the air gun.
