Hey guys, I did some testing on 3/8" Plexiglas today. My runs were set at 50 ipm, my material is 3/8 Plexiglas and cut to a depth of 50% using the multi pass option. If you look at the pics you"ll see the results. As of now the 192 High Speed bit seems to work well , cleaner and not melting as much as the 561 Multipurpose. Maybe its also the feed rate that's a factor heating up the plastic. I used a sheet of 1/4" FanFold on the bottom as well as the top taped on and leaving the cutting area open.

Nice one Al! That top one came out looking good. What kind of step down did you use on the multi pass?
    Thanks for sharing this

Nice Al thank you looking forward to trying out some of this plastic cutting.
I wonder what that would look like with some LEDS on the edge of it? :D

    Could you check?

I've had a 192 for years and pretty it's well worn out. About a month ago I needed it for something and noticed it didn't cut very good. When I shut the motor down Kurt noticed it spinning the wrong direction for the way it was made.(good 75 year old eyes) Upon inspection it was backwards. So either it was not a 192 put into the 192 slot or a 192 is a reverse direction bit.
