My Friend wanted a Yak 54 Full Fuse so I worked one up for him. Have not cut it out yet . I pluged it in the CG calculator. I came up with A CG of 1" - 1 1/2" from leading edge. Will have to get some glide tests first.

    Cheers

COOL! ET! I love it. Nice layout, quick straightforward build design. Nice looking plane! Even though I'm not a big Yak fan I like that.

    Best Regards,

Hats up to you E-T for doing it in three version. Lots of extra work for you to the benefit of us, the lazy ones. Thanks, my man.

    Looks good ET.
I did something similar just recently. Mine is called the Lil' Ripper....my own design. I've been testing it out for a while now before I posted it. Your gonna love that Yak man. These planes fly so much better than the profile type. I couldn't stand how the tail section always twisted in fight which is the main reason I did mine. Problem was solved. Everything is more precise now.
I like how you sandwiched the rudder in the fuse sides, I did that too. It works really well.
Here is a pic of my Lil' Ripper. Attached files [IMG]

3-D mon that looks Great. Are you going to post a SU file after testing :?:

Looks like you have a lot less on the controll surface size. :) I think I will have do the same to mine. I think it will be too touchy. Mine are all most half the wing. I am going to try and get the servos in the fuse by cutting the canopy off and use magnets to hold it back on.

    Cheers

My testing is done, so yes I will post the files. I was planing to post it when I got the instructions done. All I have right now is the build pics, which should be good enough for instructions, so maybe I'll go ahead and post it soon and update the instructions later.

My plane is a bit bigger than yours (31" wingspan) but yes the aileron's are a bit less than yours and it has tons of authority.
I like how you did the front end with the cross brace. That should make it really strong.

    Thanks 3DMON

It's kinda small for my taste But, my Buddy thinks it's just the right size. I scaled it up to a 40" wing span Just for ME and will try to cut it out tomarrow. Added the 40" Yak SU to the first post.

    Cheers
