When I was adding the second vacuum port to my Phlatformer, I noticed that the
vacuum hose adapter stepped down and left you with a small hole to pull air through.
I knew if the hole was bigger I would get a lot more pull from my vacuum.
I cut off the end as shown in the picture. It made a big difference.
The vacuum was very strong at the grid surface of the Phlatformer.

If your vac. has a large dia. hose like mine does, then cut the adapter as shown above
and it should make a big difference.

For smaller dia. hoses, cut the adapter further back to open things up.
Be sure you know where the end of the hose fits before cutting the adapter down.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Thunder Hawk,

While I was Seeking for a New Or Used *PhlatFormer Unit* for Sale on The Internet,....I came across a "Hobby Forum Website" which a guy is showing us a New Way to Create a "Quiet Vacuum Pump and Tank System" for his Vacuum Former Suitcase Unit...Perhaps You or Anyone Else mite be Interested to Implement It on their PhlatFormer Units ?!
