I have a half of a wing. I copy and paste the second half and spin around push together. How do I join those two to make one? Thanks for any help. ;)

First save them under a different name in case you mess up :) then position them so that they connect where you want then select them both and explode them at this point they will be one. Delete the connecting line (clean up) then you can select them all and make them one group :)
    Hope that helps Frank

Thanks for the quick reply mark I appreciate that sir! I was messing around while waiting for a reply and found that if I line the 2 parts up and then go into edit then intersect and then "intersectselected only" It will join the 2 also. I have no idea how I got to that point. I was just hitting combinations and fell into that one. Another way I did it was to select the original part copy and paste and then slide the new part perfectly sideways until it appears to the left or right whichever and then slide it back to the original part it will snap together then just hilight the connecting line and delete. Then you have one part. Or I could just do it the easy way as you explained and be done with it  Thanks for your help Mark.

    Your welcome Frank,
Yeah I guess there are a lot of ways to get to that point. I also do the copy way that you described above and both seem to work fine.
There are also a ton of shortcuts that I have not learned about for SketchUp yet and I am sure that there are many other ideas people have as well, but for me once I figure something out I get comfortable with doing it that way and I usually stick to it. Creature of habit I suppose :D
