    marcomartim,
I saw this video and was going to make it! You beat me to it
Its very cool brother thank you for sharing it!
After looking at this one I started to do a search on kinetic sculptures and was blown away at all the cool ideas out there. I think we should start and area under the Arts section of free plans.
    Thanks again marco :)

This sculpture is very simple and does not use strings. The drive is manual
The only thing missing was a shaft that is very easy to arrange.

There is more elaborate sculptures with rope or drive mechanisms, as far as possible, I and another colleague will probably be offered.

    Hugs

Worked up a quick Sketchup and code so that I could move this into this section :)
I did a tab-less set up so you may want to add tabbing
    enjoy :)
Thanks to marcomartim for sharing this

    Very good

I was very glad that you cut the pieces.
No doubt it is an incentive to continue looking for cool things and drawing.

    Hugs ...

Hi, are there new projects of kinetic sculptures in. skp. dwg. jpg. pdf or other format?
I searched in internet but I find nothing.
I have already visited the http://www.woodthatworks.com site and saw there are other very beautiful sculptures. Has anyone done projects?
Many thanks and excuse me for my bad english.

Marco, I'm not sure what you mean with 'where there are other unkown', but if you mean that you can't find the other sculptures on the site look for the 'portfolio' link on the left and for the 'sculpture archive'. There are lots of sculptures on that site. I wish I knew how he has the driving mechanization set up.

    TigerPilot;

There are numerous kinetic sculptures with various forms of drive.
(motors, springs, gravity, wind, acinar manual, etc ...)
I have no trouble finding models or build any mechanism (I have a well equipped workshop), my sole impediment is the lack of time to create new parts or new design.

Some answers may be distorted due to the use of online translator. :questions:

    A big hug

One day I will have to get deeper into the drive mechanism, Marco, and then I'll write you for some advise on how the work, if it's OK with you.

I have a couple of ideas to make. But I'm having a little trouble on how to design the motor using a Negator spring. I want to control the speed.
