Lowes is discontinuing fff

    The 1/4" layflat has some waves, though not as pronounced as the PBIII.
    The 3/8ths stuff is completely flat.

    I have both and really prefer the 3/8" myself

    I wen't to the Lowes in Orange (here in SoCal off the 60 freeway) where I get my DOW FFF. THey had 3 budles left.... :shock: I asked the store manager if they were being discontinued. He checked in the computer and said no it is still a stock item. They just hadn't submitted a new order for restock. I asked him if I could "special" order some. He said no but he would order a pallet. I just have to call in 2 weeks to confirm that they have it. Fresh clean brand new DOW FFF.....:) I'm going to get 5 bundles. 8 total should las me a while.

    Man I miss it! I can still get it at the universal contractor supply, its the real nice stuff but its $45 a bundle, which really is not to bad for nice straight foam that has the skin on both sides considering that the normal stuff for us was $36 a bundle. I just need to take the time to get there and get some. :)

    Just checked Lowes in South Anchorage and it shows in stock $4x.xx.Its a road trip but I still have lots of one bundle.

    Mine Detector I have, and for some reason, my Lowes has about 200 bundles of FFF. THe manager there told me that as long as people were building houses, he would keep ordering PIII. I hope they keep building houses. No seriously, I hava an actual mine detector.
