anyone that dont like to sand like a crazy ghetto foam monkey....DO NOT BUILD THIS MODEL. the phlatty is the easy part, lols. then the work begins. the airfoil is like a clark-y. also ther is a weird cut on the bottom, they call it a horton tailless wing foil. it took a wile just to rough in the model, as im a long way off to get the final shape and form. myself i dont mind to sand like a ghetto foam monkey, lols. as of now with all the foam on the scale, its 18grams .i will post as i update the model...randy.

just started to install the electronics.....i was going to make a pure glider, then i decided to mount the motor in front with the prop in back....then i figured i will mount the motor and prop in the conventional way, lols. im thinking if i get creative with the eyes, and feathers, i can still keep the bird look. i stared to roughly hog out the foam for the electronics. also i have to come up with the linkage for the controls. with all the electronics minus the linkage the bird weighs 35grams. i still have to hollow out the top a lil. man my bird needs to be on a diet, lols. randy.

programmed a v-tail mix to get rid of the extra servo.....hollowed out the body a lil better, the bird lost some weight. from 35 to 32 grams....all i gotta do is keep the linkage lite, and i think it will come in under the planed weight of 33grams. i have to find some very small dia guide tubes..the control wire is .020in. aslo the c.g. is rite on... randy.

Randy in your first pics it looks like those small circles are very accurate and perfectly round!! Did you use a backlash setting? I may need to hire you some day :)
